Welcome to Family Support Systems, and thank you for accessing our website.  We have endeavored to capture the essence and nature of our operations in this brief presentation, and I am positive that you will be well informed about our organization as you browse through the site.

Since our inception in 1982, Family Support Systems has diligently strived to address the escalating needs of children and their families within the New York area, via the programs and services that we have been consistently providing.  I am proud, yet humbled as I reflect over these 27 years of community involvement.

We are pleased to state that thousands have been beneficiaries of our services and they have gone on to lead stable, productive lives.  Needless to say, there have been many valleys and peaks all the way through this journey, but we are still here, working with the same dedication and commitment to positively impact those whom we serve.  We are cognizant of the fact that crises which impact families and children negatively surface quite frequently, so Family Support Systems consistently provides the training, nurturing and support to ease them through.

Unfortunately, children and families in crises are on the increase and their needs continue to escalate and get more complicated, but we must rise up to the challenge.  We are fully convinced that it is possible for children and families to live happy, productive and prosperous lives, and we will not cease working until this vision is a reality.

We trust that as you view the pages of this site, you will, in addition to your getting an overview of our organization as a while, be also motivated and inspired to partner with Family Support Systems.  You may do so as a contributor, foster parent, or volunteer.  Please join with us in fulfilling our mission to improve the quality of life for children and families.  We put families first, because it is our motto, and that’s what we do.
